BOSTON (Jan. 16, 2009) - Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM), the global leader in information protection and storage services, will host a free Webcast with Compliance Week on new rules that companies and other institutions nationwide must soon follow to protect the personal information of Massachusetts residents. Effective May 1, 2009, regulation 201 CMR 17.00 will require organizations to implement information-security programs with specific features to safeguard the names, Social Security numbers, drivers license numbers and other personal information of Massachusetts residents.

Garry Watzke, Esq., a senior vice president in Iron Mountain's legal team, will explain the new requirements and the potential impact on company operations. John Jamison, vice president of consulting services, will provide tips for achieving compliance and avoiding risk.
