Iron Mountain and Adobe to Provide Photographers with Online Backup Services for Photos and Images

Partnership enables Adobe to provide value-added
services to customers

February 27, 2006

Boston, MA - Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM), the global leader in information protection and storage services, today announced a new partnership with Adobe Systems Incorporated to help Adobe® Photoshop® Album Starter Edition, Photoshop Elements and Adobe Bridge users protect and access their digital images.

Adobe Photoshop Services has been expanded to now include Iron Mountain's Connected DataProtector/PC™, providing Adobe Digital Imaging and Creative Suite software users with an online backup service to protect against accidental loss or corruption of digital photos. The subscription service gives Adobe Digital Imaging and Creative Suite software users the power to automatically and easily back up their library of digital images, and provides instant access to images whenever and wherever they need them. Adobe Digital Imaging and Creative Suite software users can also automatically back up other records, including design files, financial files, word documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, eliminating the need to buy, label and store CDs, Zip disks, or other storage media.

“We’re committed to continually bringing the best products and services available to photographers from within the Photoshop user experience," said Deb Whitman, vice president of product management for Digital Imaging at Adobe. “We’re happy to work with companies like Iron Mountain who help ensure that photographers can protect their digital images for the future.”

The Iron Mountain service is integrated with Adobe Bridge as well as Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 and 4.0, and Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.0. Users of this software will be able to try out the new online backup services before subscribing.

“Adobe is smart to provide its loyal customer base with relevant, value-added services – and Iron Mountain’s online backup service fits their strategy perfectly,” said Dave Kubick, vice president of worldwide channels and alliances at Iron Mountain. “We’re very pleased that Adobe has teamed with Iron Mountain to deliver data protection services to its valued user community.”

This strategic partnership enables Iron Mountain to tap into Adobe's robust customer base by complementing Adobe's product with a value-added service. Iron Mountain already has formed more than 200 channel partnerships globally with companies that are among the best in their respective spaces. These partnerships include TELUS, Peachtree Software, and EDS’ Mobile Information Protection Service.
